Lizzie Kate Exchange

The weather hasn't improved this last week, although next week, at this stage, seems to be improving somewhat.

Now that Lisa has received her Lizzie Kate exchange item, I can show you what I have spent most of my time stitching.

Design: Spring Sampler
Designer: Lizzie Kate
Fabric: 32ct Belfast linen - Cameo Rose
Thread: DMC
Finish: Pillow

I have been stitching just on exchanges since late last year and have spent very little time stitching for myself. I think after my Fair & Square piece and Praire Schooler exchanges are sent I may take a break and just concentrate on my own personal stitching. It's fun to stitch for others, but lately I seem to have little time to stitch and I am just not enjoying it as much as I would like.

Finally, I would like to leave you with photos of my beautiful daughters.

I hear ya on the exchanges. I loved doing every one of them, but getting back to the core projects is wonderful too.

The kiddos are cuties - isn't it going to be a blast to teach them to stitch? :-)

What a great idea to stitch this design on Cameo Rose linen, I might steal that idea. Looks great!

The girls are darling!

Your girls are so adorable Suzanne. You and DH must be so very proud of them.

What a pretty LK pillow. Love those buttons.

I had to smile about your previous post about 'hating' summer. When we were living in Las Vegas I used to complain about the extreme summer heat but now that we are in the middle of a rainy, chilly winter in The Netherlands the heat sounds very attractive.

Suzanne, your young ladies are really adorable! I also love your LK Spring ornament. And with the exchanges, I know how that feels. Is the weather getting better over there?
Hugs, Margit
PS: I still have not come up with an idea on how to finish all my rows. Do you have one?

Wow, I can't believe Amelie has grown so much already!! What cuties they both are.
Love your LK exchange. It's so nice to see a touch of spring.
Check out my blog when you get a chance. I've give you an award.
Don't worry about passing it on. I know your hands must be full these days with those two little ones.

Your girls are adorable!

I love the idea of exchanges but have to admit, I am a very selfish stitcher. There's so much that I want to stitch for me & my family that I don't often do things to give away. That sounds worse than it really is!! I should say--I love to do things for my family & leave it at that! LOL That said, your L*K exchange gift is lovely--lucky recipient!
