More Stitching To Show

I read on Klaudia's blog that she had received the PIF I sent her. This is another design I enjoyed stitching. I made some colour changes as I had used DMC thread and the conversion saw the flowers a not so nice orange colour. I found the cutest little chicken fabric that I just couldn't resist using as the backing.

Design: Life's A Stitch
Designer: Lizzie Kate

Fabric: 32ct Belfast Linen - Dirty Linen
Thread: DMC
Finish: Pinkeep

I also heard from Ellen (no blog) that she had received the ornament I stitched for her for the Year Long Prairie Schooler Exchange. I decided to go the traditional Prairie Schooler finish on the ornament and I really like how it turned out.

Design: Prairie Schooler Santa
Designer: The Prairie Schooler
(Gift Of Stitching Magazine, Issue 34 November 2008)
Fabric: 32ct Jobelan - Sage
Thread: DMC
Finish: Christmas Ornament

Oh wow your finishes are just really beautiful! Thank you so much for your comment in my blog! I am even more inspired looking at your beautiful ornaments! Thank you so much for your encouraging words on finishing. You are such a good stitcher and finisher! I made a mistake on my previous post so it is me that deleted it. Hope I haven't confused you hehehehe. Debby

Hi Suzanne,
You know I am quite envious of all the lovely ornaments that you are making now. Your finishing is superb.
What a week I have had. I have been down to Penrith everyday this week having Xrays, bone scans and MRI's. Also very expensive lol.
Found out on Monday after a bone scan that I have been walking around for months with 2 stress fractures in my lower leg. No wonder I have been in agony recently. Apparently my leg should be in plaster, but they won't put it in it at the moment as I still have to see another Specialist. Looks like I have to have a knee replacement ASAP. Oh well, I will get a lot of stitching done I suppose. But the pain aaahh lol. - Sandra.
