Missing in action for a long time

It's been quite some time since I last posted, I think two months in all. I can't say I have been doing too much apart from tending to sick children. For the last two months I don't think we have gone for more than three or four days between being well to catching something else. It has been a roller coaster of coughs, colds and the flu for all three children and my husband. Over Easter the kids were so sick with the flu they didn't even want to go on an Easter egg hunt in the lounge room.

Needless to say, my stitching has taken a back seat and I haven't even read any blogs for quite some time. I feel so disconnected from everything. I am currently working on an exchange, but all the momentum I had at the beginning of the year with my stitching has come to a grinding halt.

I am hoping that things will get back to normal this month, because I so need to connect back with all you great bloggers out there and get back into that stitching groove.

Oh Suzanne, I'm so sorry to hear that your children and also your husband were so ill. I hope they have all fully recovered by now and that you can get back into the swing of things.

I am really sorry for you and your family that you have to go through those sick times. I guess they are playing ping-pong with the viruses. Hopefully everybody will recover very soon and stays well!

Oh, that sounds awful, Suzanne... One sick child is hard enough--but three?? I sure hope you get a spell of "healthy" time soon--you deserve it!

Oh you poor things. I remember having a time like that when my kids were little too. Not fun. I will say one thing though -- from that point on we got flu shots every year. It's so worth doing! Hope everyone is feeling better and you all can get back to normal without being sick!

Sorry to hear about the illnesses in your family and hope that the worst is over! I've heard of so many people here that just can't get over this bug going around.

Oh I'm so sorry you've had the sickness cycle. It's so hard when it just keeps going. Hopefully everyone will have built up their immunity by now and you can get back to some stitching! Take care!

I am so sorry to hear that you have all been unwell. That's just plain miserable! I'm hoping the worst is over now and that things start to improve. Sounds like you could certainly use a stitching break.

Dear Suzanne, I so understand how health problems, especially with children, can keep you away from stitching and blogging. Don't worry, even with the exchanges and all, take one day at a time, be a mum and a wife, and a stitcher as much as can be. ;)
Hugs to you and my wishes for a better health for you and the kids.
